Preliminary Educational Program

Program Overview

Our National Conference will start with a series of pre-conference workshops on Wednesday, May 1, which have limited capacities.

Our NSWOCC Industry Advisory Council (NIAC) Industry and Science Day returns on Thursday, May 2, where will also have Opening Ceremonies and the official launch of our Exhibit Hall. The Industry and Science Day sessions are designed to bridge the gap between science and industry, providing a platform for attendees to delve deeper into the intersection of these two critical aspects. In the evening, NSWOCC Members will join the Annual Members Meeting. Following the meeting, all attendees are invited to attend our Premier Event: Posters, Products and Punch.

On Friday, May 3, we will continue the National Conference with a series of plenary and concurrent sessions on a myriad of wound, ostomy and continence topics. At the end of the day, we will host a western-themed networking event for all attendees and exhibitors to participate in called “NSWOCC Country and Western Sing, Stomp, and Honky-Tonk!”

On Saturday, May 4, another full day of wound, ostomy and continence education will take place in the form of both plenary and concurrent sessions. In the evening, the NSWOCC Banquet and WOC Institute Graduation Ceremony will take place where we will celebrate the achievements of our Members and congratulate our newly-graduated NSWOC, SWAN, and ISWA students.

Finally, on Sunday, May 5, you have the choice to attend a repeated Debridement Workshop (duplicated this year to accommodate more people), or the highly-anticipated Indigenous Blanket Experience.
