Bio

Michele has been a nurse for 35 years in medical/surgical setting and a clinical nursing instructor for UPEI for 4 years. She became a graduate of the CAET Academy in 2012 and is working as a certified Wound Ostomy Continence nurse at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in
Charlottetown,PEI. She is passionate about learning and teaching in the area of wound ostomy and continence. She is an active member of the Skin and Wound Committee which received the Leadership Excellence in Quality and Safety Award in 2018 presented by the Health PEI Board to the Provincial Diabetic foot Screening Program.
