Teri-Anne Schroeder has practiced as an NSWOC in the Saskatoon Health Region since 1981. She has cared for patients of all age groups in a variety of health care settings encompassing both paediatrics and elder care. She has organized and delivered numerous workshops on ostomy care throughout Saskatchewan. Teri has presented at national conferences, speaking on topics such as sexuality and ostomy, and wound care and the use of Telehealth in practice. She has served as the Prairie Regional Director and as a CAET board member. Following graduate studies in education, she was an educator for the Polytechnic SCBScN program as well as for Practical Nursing. She has been active and supportive of the Saskatoon Ostomy Association. Teri teaches casually with Polytechnic while practicing independently in Saskatoon, primarily focusing on long term care. She also serves as an Academic Advisor with WOC-EP Ostomy. She is President of the Canadian Mental Health Association Saskatoon Branch. Particular areas of interest include mental health and healing while living with an ostomy.
