Troy graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelors of Humanities (Honours) where he developed a rich awareness of the complexity of human experience and obtained the ability to synthesize elaborate texts to product concise and valuable content.

Troy’s experience is heavily tied to the not-for-profit sector with an emphasis on digital marketing and strategic planning. As the Co-Director and Marketing Lead for an Entrepreneurship Pre-Incubator in Ottawa, Ontario, he worked with student startups to help them determine their value proposition, create a defensive business model, and create pitches to impress and satisfy potential partners or investors.

Troy currently supports Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Canada (NSWOCC) as Membership and Communications Manager through his previous experience with other not-for-profit organizations like the Orléans Chamber of Commerce, where he a managed a membership of over 200 business owners as the main liaison between members and the organization, and Wheelchair Basketball Canada as a member of a Communications teams where he developed a keen ability to produced polished communications material like infographics, media releases, newsletters, videos, and more.

As a consultant and freelancer, Troy has taken his ability to problem solve and simplify elaborate concepts, and combined it with his creative eye to help organizations achieve their strategic marketing goals by bettering their digital and print marketing tactics to reach new audiences and establish better relationships with their customers, members, and partners.

He is motivated by helping others and always strives to attach his work to a cause that’s greater than the bottom. He looks for good governance, diverse representation, and philanthropic and sustainable development goals when seeking to join a new company or organization.
