Abstract
Patients with diabetic and peripheral vascular wounds require specialized care. Their complexities can be challenging to manage and recognize. Early recognition and prevention of infection is integral to prevention of complications, including amputation and increased mortality. Join Dr. Harton, Dr. Power and Dr. Woo for a discussion on approaches used to treat and manage patients with vascular and diabetic wounds, including the importance of a multidisciplinary approach.
