Tarik Alam began his nursing career in 1995 as a Registered Nurse in medicine and surgery at the McGill University Health Center. He entered the role of Enterostomal Therapy Nurse Clinician in 2000 and subsequently completed his training from the Canadian Enterostomal Therapy Association (CAET). Tarik was active in the association for many years as a content expert for the CAET’s web-based certification program and as a regional director for Quebec. Tarik joined Hollister in 2008 and is the Clinical Affairs manager. He completed a Master's Degree in Clinical Science from the University of Western Ontario with a specialization in Wound Healing. He is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University of Western Ontario for the Master’s of Clinical Science Wound Healing program and also lectures at John Abbott and Dawson College in Montreal.
