Eleanore has been an NSWOC for over 20 years. She established the first Tele-ET consultation service in Canada in 1999. She has taught nursing at the college level and distance programs in 2 universities. She has been an Academic Advisor for the WOC Institute since 2009.

Eleanore was a Wound Care Consultant for the Department of Health and Wellness NS and was the Provincial Program Lead, Wound Care NS from 2016-2019. In 2014, she was presented with the Excellence in Clinical Practice Award by the College of Registered Nurses of NS.

She is active in Ostomy Canada and her local chapter and has been a strong advocate for people with ostomies. She lives in beautiful Wolfville, NS with her husband and her black Labrador, Casey. In her spare time she is still able to micro-manage her 2 adults sons.
