Emily is a certified NSWOC at IWK Health in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She graduated with her BScN from Dalhousie University in 2010. After spending the majority of her career on a busy pediatric surgical unit, she completed the Enterostomal Therapy Nurse Education Program. In 2018, Emily accepted the position of Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence at the IWK working with patients in all three subspecialties, ranging in age from extremely premature to elderly. She has spoken at local and national conferences and is involved in several research projects.
