Mary Hill, RN, BScN MN, NSWOC, WOCC(C)

Mary is a Certified Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence (NSWOC). She is an NSWOC educator and consultant for Integrated Home Care for Alberta Health Services in Calgary where she supports nurses and clients in community care.

Mary has extensive experience in the areas of ostomy, wound and continence care in acute and community settings. She received her Diploma in Nursing from Foothills Hospital, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from the University of Alberta and her Master’s in Nursing (MN) from the University of Calgary. Mary completed her Enterostomal Therapy Nurse education program through Albany, NY. She participates on various committees and has assisted in the development of a variety of educational resources and guidelines related to wound, ostomy and continence management. She has also presented and participated on expert panels at conferences both nationally and internationally.

Mary has held many leadership roles within the Nurses Specialized in Wound Ostomy and Continence Canada (NSWOCC) including President, Professional Practice Group Coordinator, and is currently the Program Lead for the National Conference Planning Core Program.
