Najwa is currently working as a Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (NSWOC) at Hamilton Health Science. She worked as a Nurse Continence Advisor in clinic, hospital, and community settings. She has over a decade of experience in acute surgical units, ICU and PACU.

Najwa created and led educational sessions to raise awareness on continence management among nurses, patients, and their families. She led the introduction and appropriate use of catheter securement devices to prevent penile erosion.
Najwa has recently joined the WOC Institute as an Academic Advisor for the continence course.
