42nd National Conference
Networking Event

Did you know: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was the first full-length traditionally animated feature film and the first Disney animated feature film?

Whether you're a fan of the classics like Snow White, or prefer new Disney successes, we invite you to join us at the NSWOCC and NIAC partnered networking event "Decades of Disney" lip sync battle. We are excited about holding this networking event during our national conference, which is designed to bring nurses and aligned healthcare professionals together with industry representatives in order to:

  1. Get to know each other better through a team event

  2. Generate entertainment after the education program.

  3. Have some fun!

Join us in Ottawa from May 3 – 7th, 2023 as we gather again in person for the first time in over 3 years!  We are looking forward to seeing everyone again.  The theme of the 42nd NSWOCC National Conference is “Let’s Face it! Together!” and will be focused on advancing specialized care, addressing health care challenges and providing an educational program that showcases wound, ostomy and continence care.

Our National Conference welcomes Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence (NSWOCs) and Skin Wellness Associate Nurses (SWANs) from across the country as well as hospital and community-based nurses, and allied healthcare professionals including physicians, RNs, NPs, practical nurses.

On Thursday, we invite you to join us and our Industry Partners to learn new and innovative products in wound, ostomy and continence for our NSWOCC Industry Advisory Council's "Industry and Science Day".

Returning to the conference program will be the popular hands-on advanced specialty workshops, WOC Institute sponsored workshops and 5 learning streams: Wound, Ostomy, Continence, SWAN, and French sessions.

A special registration event will be provided for participants to learn more about poster presentations and publication writing over breakfast on Sunday morning. In addition, there will be a special registration accredited event on dermatology for advanced health care practitioners.
