Objectives

1. Describe and understand how Diabetes alters the ability of cells to repair injured skin resulting in hard to heal wounds.
2. Introduce DermGEN™—a decellularized and sterile human dermal matrix for wound healing and tissue regeneration.
3. Discuss how DermGEN™ enhances healing and tissue regeneration in hard to heal Diabetic wounds.
4. Describe how DermGEN™ can be used in conjunction with standard wound care practice to facilitate and accelerate the healing of hard to heal Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFU’s) using examples of clinical treatment and outcomes.
