Dr. Francois Harton DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Francois Harton is a graduate of Temple School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated from a three-year surgical residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Emory Northlake Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia, one of the few highly sought-after residency programs in the United States. He is a member of the Podiatry Institute, an organization committed to teaching other podiatrists throughout the country. Dr. Harton specializes in surgical reconstruction of the foot and ankle, diabetic foot care as well as all general aspects of the foot and ankle for children, adults and seniors. He is one of the few surgeons in Canada certified to help patients with flatfeet using the hyprocure implant surgical procedure. Over the past 15 years he has enjoyed lecturing in the United States and Canada on some of the new techniques and refinements in foot and ankle care. Dr. Harton is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) Canadian Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA) and the Alberta Podiatry Association. He is Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Calgary and Chief of Section of Podiatric Surgery for the Calgary region.
