Jennifer Laird is a Licensed Practical Nurse for Alberta Health Services Calgary Zone - Integrated Home Care. In her present clinical practice she supports the wound care team, specifically focusing on the various wound care needs of marginalized clients. Jennifer has held many roles throughout her nursing career including working in a home care setting, as well as working in a variety of specialty areas including, day surgery, neuro-ICU and neurology. In addition, Jennifer was employed as a nursing supervisor for a private home care service provider.
Jennifer’s work through the drop-in line at the wound clinic has been integral in meeting the frostbite health care needs in the marginalized population during the winter months.
